Meet Donna
Hi, I'm Donna Sparks Farmer, Co-Founder of CareDonna.
Caregiving isn't just something I've studied—it's something I've lived.
Over the years, I've cared for my little brother with Fragile X syndrome, walked alongside both of my parents through hospice, supported my in-laws during hospice care, and cared for my late husband after he was diagnosed with early-onset Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) at just 53 years old. I had the privilege of caring for him at home throughout his entire journey until he passed away at the age of 60. Those years taught me lessons that no textbook ever could.
I've also been blessed to have several autistic family members, giving me a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, challenges, and perspectives that come with neurodiversity. Those experiences inspired me to co-found CareDonna—a place where caregivers can find practical resources, honest guidance, education, encouragement, and hope.
Whether you're caring for someone with dementia, autism, ADHD, Fragile X syndrome, or another condition, my goal is to help you feel more prepared, more confident, and never alone. Here you'll find educational articles, videos, books, printable resources, recommended products, and real-life advice from someone who truly understands the caregiving journey.

Bobby Ryan is the Co-Founder of CareDonna and the creative and technical force behind the platform.
As an autistic adult, Bobby brings a unique firsthand perspective to CareDonna's mission of creating resources that are accessible, welcoming, and easy to navigate for individuals and families from all walks of life. His lived experience helps shape the way CareDonna serves caregivers and those they care for with understanding, empathy, and inclusion.
Bobby oversees the website development, design, photography, technology, and digital strategy that bring CareDonna to life. Working alongside Donna, he is committed to building a trusted community where caregivers can find practical tools, reliable information, encouragement, and hope.
